The first phase of construction at Ballito is complete.
The project was built by the state’s largest private developer, H.B. Johnson Construction, and includes an 11,000-square-foot condominium complex.
The company is building a $1.5 billion residential project on the former site of a factory site.
Ballito is a mix of office and residential units.
The condominiums are expected to have two bedrooms and four bathrooms, and will have a pool, gym, laundry facilities and storage spaces.
A retail store is planned for the main street.
The city of Houston approved the development in 2016, and a public hearing was held on Oct. 12, 2017.
The developer plans to begin construction in 2019.
